- Tuesday, November 20, 2018Creamy Garlic Pasta2 tsp olive oil2 T butter 4 cloves garlic, minced ¼ tsp salt 8 oz pasta (recommend angel hair) 1 C parmesan cheese ½ C heavy cream Fresh parsley - diced Cook pasta according to the instructions on the box. Once cooked, drain. In a large skillet, add oil and butter. Melt the butter, add garlic. Mix in pasta, parmesan cheese, a little parsley, pepper (pinch), and salt. Add in cream slowly. Top with Parsley and enjoy!
- Wednesday, August 17, 2022Easy Fettuccini Alfredo½ lb fettuccine2 T butter1 C heavy cream¾ C shredded Parmesan, plus more for garnish1 cloves garlic, mincedKosher salt and freshly ground black pepper1 T Chopped fresh flat leaf parsley or thyme, for garnishIn a large pot of salted water, cook pasta according to package directions.Meanwhile, melt butter over medium-low heat in a large skillet. Add cream and stir until mixture begins bubble and thicken, 2 to 3 minutes. Add cheese and garlic, and reduce heat to low. Cook, stirring, until thickened, 5 to 7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.Remove from heat, add pasta and stir until coated (If necessary, add cooking water, 1 tablespoon at a time, to thin the sauce and help it coat.) Serve immediately garnished with parsley or thyme.*don’t start the sauce until the water for the pasta is boiling
- Monday, November 19, 2018Lasagna1 lb. hamburger½ tsp garlic salt1 T whole basil1½ tsp salt1 28 oz. can tomatoes2 8 oz. cans tomato sauce 16 oz. lasagna 1 container fresh Ricotta cheese ½ C grated Parmesan2 T parsley flakes2 beaten eggs1 tsp salt½ tsp pepper 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thinly Brown meat; drain grease. Add next 5 ingredients. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook noodles in large amount boiling salted water until tender; drain & rinse. Combine remaining ingredients except Mozzarella cheese (while meat simmers). Place half the noodles in 13x9 baking dish. Spread with ½ cheese filling, ½ mozzarella cheese, and ½ sauce. Repeat. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
- Monday, November 19, 2018Macaroni & Meat Balls1 8 oz. package macaroni1 lb. ground beef1 egg2 T chopped parsley1½ tsp salt dash pepper3 T margarine2 T flour1 tsp dry mustard1 tsp Worcestershire sauce2½ C milk2 C grated Cheddar cheese2 C buttered bread crumbs (3 slices) Cook macaroni according to directions; drain. Mix ground beef with egg, parsley, 1 tsp salt, & pepper. Shape into 18 balls. Brown in 1 T margarine; place in greased 8 cup baking dish. Pour off all drippings (from meat pan). Melt remaining 2 T margarine. Blend in flour, ½ tsp salt and mustard. Stir in Worcestershire & milk. Cook, stirring constantly until sauce thickens and boils 1 minutes. Stir in 1 cup cheese until melted. Stir into macaroni. Spoon over meat balls. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese Cover with bread crumbs. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

Cook ground beef, onion, celery, green pepper, salt & pepper until meat is browned; drain. Stir in soup Place noodles in casserole dish and toss with margarine. Stir in meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
- Monday, November 19, 2018Spaghetti Sauce1 lb. ground beef, browned, drained, salt & peppered (you can add chopped onions if wanted)1 large can tomato juice 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce ½ cup catsup1 T basil½ tsp celery salt1 tsp chili powder1 tsp garlic salt2 tsp oregano1 tsp paprika1 T parsley½ tsp thyme Mix all ingredients & bring to a boil. Turn down and simmer 1 ¼ hour.
